Maurice O'Shea Winners

The McWilliam’s Maurice O’Shea Award Dinner was founded in 1990 and is regarded as the most prestigious event on the wine industry calendar. The Maurice O’Shea Award commemorates and pays homage to the legendary Mount Pleasant winemaker and visionary, Maurice O’Shea. The Award is presented to an individual, group, activity, association, institute or corporation who has made a significant and ongoing contribution to the Australian wine industry.

McWilliam's Excellence In Action Winner

Created in 2022, McWilliam's Excellence In Action Awards acknowlegding the current challenges facing the wine industry, this award recognises the people or industry bodies that have tackled these obstacles for the betterment of the industry. The trophy for the new McWilliam’s Excellence in Action Award was designed and created by celebrated Australian glass artist Nick Mount in Adelaide. His contemporary interpretation of the glass wine bottle frames the overall work of the trophy, enhanced by Nick’s artistic flair and ability to look at materials and processes in new ways.
